Sika Sarnafil has redeveloped its ‘Successful Roof Refurbishment’ CPD seminar, improving the program for specifiers working with high performance products on roof renovations.
The CPD has been updated to cater for the fast growing refurbishment market, offering addition support for specifiers in their decision making processes.
The interactive program, which has achieved RICS approval, details current legislation and regulations, such as British Standards and EU Standards. It also covers energy efficiency requirements, as set out in Part L and BREEAM assessments.
A dedicated team member from Sarnafil Plus Refurbishment Surveyors will explain how delegates can identify the causes of roof failure, outlining different investigation methods and system options. Advice on how to specify the best materials for a particular project and achieve compliance with efficiency regulations will also be provided.
Sika Sarnafil has updated the seminar to contain information about its newly available site inspection and supervision tool.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to discover the benefits of a market-leading single-point guarantee, which protects against any unlikely problems that may arise from the failure of roofing membranes and the existing substrate, caused by incorrect design or installation.
The CPD can be combined with a live demonstration of various Sarnafil waterproofing systems being installed; at the end, they will be given the chance to weld the membrane themselves.
The session, which includes a question and answer segment, is 60 minutes long. Those interested in taking the new CPD can find out more information via Sika Sarnafil’s website
