Schueco has announced the opening of its new London showroom office in a bid to expand the company’s London operation and make the product range and technical support services more accessible.
Located at 153 Great Portland Street, W1, the new premises – which are also home to the London office of Schueco International – include a spacious showroom on the ground floor with meeting rooms and conference facilities whilst the upper and lower mezzanine floors are occupied by offices.
The showroom areas contain permanent displays of Schueco façades, windows, sliding doors and entrance doors. In addition, there is a Virtual Reality facility showing examples of Schueco commercial systems and a Product Configurator that displays photo-realistic images and provides easy step-by-step configuration of Schueco sliding-door systems in a variety of domestic settings.
The new facility was officially opened last week on 14th June by Caroline Buckingham, Vice President (Practice and Profession) of the RIBA, Andreas Engelhardt, Managing Partner and CEO, Schueco International KG and Mike Lane, Managing Director, Schueco UK.
Opening hours are from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30 am to 3.30 pm on Fridays, with a late opening one evening a week. Design and technical advice is available during opening hours and visitors are encouraged to make an appointment wherever possible. Schueco will also offer regular monthly events at the new office, which will see invited expert speakers address a wide variety of industry topics.
