SE Controls’ SECO chain actuators for facade and window automation will attract particular interest from visitors at BAU 2017.
Both the SECO N 24 25 and SECO Ni 24 40 actuators are available in single and twin chain configurations to provide effective opening and closing of top, side and bottom hung, as well as pivoting windows with virtually silent operation.
Operating on 24V dc supply, all models are CE marked and suitable for use with environmental ventilation projects, while the SECO Ni 24 40 is certified and tested in accordance with the harmonized EN12101-2 standard, making it suitable for use in smoke ventilation systems. Window seal relief is also incorporated within the design to optimise window weather performance.
The maximum stroke length on the SECO Ni 24 40 is 900mm and up to 350mm for the SECO N 24 25, making them suitable for a wide range of operating parameters and installations while the thrust and closing forces produced by the single chain SECO Ni 24 40 and SECO N 24 25 are 400N and 250N respectively, which are doubled on the twin chain models. Configurable speed control is also available on the SECO N 24 25 to provide accurate positioning within a range of environmental strategies.
Standard installation details for all major system company profiles are available on request, enabling the accurate selection of brackets and fixings, thereby ensuring the installed product is fully tested and is compliant to EN12101-2
