With the COVID-19 pandemic causing unprecedented disruption to the construction industry, Senior Architectural Systems endeavours to be a strong link in the supply chain, by continuing to offer specifiers a range of support services.
Like most companies, the aluminium fenestration systems manufacturer has had to quickly adapt to the evolving challenges facing the industry, to protect both its staff and customers.
After implementing a number of safety procedures, Senior remains operational and is utilising a core team of experienced and essential staff to continue to support its supply chain and provide fenestration systems for use on a number of vital construction projects in the healthcare and education sectors.
Although many departments are temporarily working remotely in line with government advice, Senior is still able to offer its specification clients access to an extensive range of services, including detailed technical support and product advice.
Led by Senior’s experienced national specification manager, Senior’s specification team also includes architectural advisors, who are working from home to support and assist architects and main contractors nationwide, by putting them in touch with trade fabricators, who are also still operational.
James Keeling-Heane, Senior’s sales director, commented: “These are incredibly difficult times for all of us and we know that many of our supply chain partners have temporarily closed their doors.
“Many others have remained operational, and we are proud to be working with them to deliver a number of important contracts including healthcare buildings.
“The safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers has been, and will always be, our number one priority and we have worked hard to minimise any disruption by offering many of our essential specification services remotely.
“We want to keep our lines of communication open, not only to help our clients manage the current challenges but also to assist them in looking ahead when the time comes.”
