Senior’s 2020 vision with company’s marketing manager

  • 17 Dec 2019

As the UK’s largest privately-owned aluminium fenestration solutions provider, Senior Architectural Systems has established itself as a popular and reliable supply chain partner for many architects and main contractors.

Following a year of investment in both its product range and in-house resources, Jonny Greenstreet, Senior’s marketing manager, looks back at what’s been happening and what’s in store for 2020.

“Our product range is always evolving as we identify new and innovative ways to meet the ever-changing aesthetic and performance requirements of our clients.

“The development of our patented PURe® aluminium windows and doors range has continued this year with the development of the PURe® Commercial Door which is our largest, strongest and most thermally-efficient door system to date.

“We’ve also added the PURe® Parallel Push aluminium window to the range which is ideally suited to education, healthcare and high-rise projects as it offers controlled ventilation with a restricted opening to help prevent falls from height.

“Our curtain wall offering has also been extended with the launch of our new SF62 system, which has been specifically developed for schemes that require large fenestration designs but may also face challenges in terms of structural movement.

“To further support our architectural clients, in the new year we will also be launching our RIBA approved CPD available on ‘curtain wall, design, delivery and detail’, which will be delivered by our experienced team of architectural advisors.

“In addition to developing our product range, over the last twelve months we have also invested in our in-house services.  On the factory floor, recent improvements to our vertical paint line is set to significantly increase the quality and speed of our powder-coating service and to better meet the growing demand for coloured aluminium profiles.

“We also launched our new Training Academy at our South Yorkshire HQ and this has enabled us to provide more in-depth practical and theoretical product training to our network of fabricators and installers.

“Looking ahead, we will be increasing the number of training sessions offered and also have some exciting plans to refresh our product showroom in the new year.

“Investment and innovation have been key to our success over the last three decades and will continue to frame our vision for future growth.”
