SFS intec has promoted two members of its building envelope division to strengthen its sales team.
Having worked for SFS intec as Technical Sales Advisor for twelve years, David Osborne has been promoted to head of the roofing and cladding sales team.
The National Sales Manager role will see David take responsibility for the team of five Technical Sales Managers who serve customers at a regional and local level.
David will cover sales advice and quotations and the provision of technical, logistical and installation support, as well as liaising with the customer’s whole project team to ensure the successful delivery of every project.
David commented on his new role, “We know how much our customers value our 100% focus on service and I’m excited to be heading a team with such a strong commitment here.”
Colin Black will join David’s team as Technical Sales Manager for Scotland after spending six years as an Application Technician. Colin will ensure that customers receive the right technical guidance on fasteners for the wide array of roofing and cladding applications.
David also commented on Colin’s promotion, “Colin’s promotion from Application Technician, in which he worked closely with site managers and installers – including conducting pull-out tests, is exactly the kind of path that SFS encourages as a business. This reflects the value we place on loyal team members and is important in maintaining a team who understand the intricacies of fastener design, manufacture installation and longevity.”
Colin adds: “I am looking forward to building on this, creating some new relationships too, and I am really looking forward to the new challenge with the many exciting opportunities in the marketplace that I am keen to explore.”
