SFS is once again supporting Kalzip’s network of approved installers as a Silver sponsor of the 2018 Teamkal Conference and Awards, set to take place in October near Chester.
The roofing and cladding fastener manufacturer is a long-standing supporter of Teamkal, which is the network of approved contractors who are fully trained in the installation of Kalzip Aluminium Standing Seam.
The collaboration has proven successful over the years, with SFS’ range of fastening solutions enabling installers to deliver highly effective, practical solutions for the creation of buildings which couples freedom of architectural expression with optimum stability. By working together, the companies are able to combine the benefits of security, durability, economy, flexibility and quality to offer the ultimate service.
Key to this is the SFS range of fasteners which are recommended for Kalzip systems. In particular, the SDK self-drilling fastener features a drive pin that breaks off at a present torque, and the SL3 “thick to thin” fastener is designed to clamp thick top hat sections to thin metal decks using a combination of a special sprung washer, deep threads and a free spin zone.
