  • 22 Apr 2016

Smart Buildings is set to make a return to UK Construction Week this year: the 2016 show will take place from 18th to 20th October.

Dedicated to integrated building technology, Smart Buildings 2016 will encompass stimulating content, CPD sessions and innovations from leading industry brands. Targeted at professionals from all areas – from home automation to climate control, access and security to entertainment systems – the show aims to educate on smart technology and its continued development.

Benefiting from the support of big industry bodies – such as the British Institute of Facilities Management, the CIAT and KNX Association – the event will provide its attendees with opportunities to meet with developers, architects and specifiers from different companies across the UK.

The show already boasts an impressive exhibition list, with Audiologic, HDL Technology and Theben AG already signed up to the event.

Smart Buildings Hub and Workplace Zone

This year, Smart Buildings’ central Hub will play host to its wealth of seminars, workshops, CPDs and debates. The building structure itself will be an exhibit of the latest smart products and technologies.

The show will also stage a dedicated Workplace Zone, which will showcase businesses catering specially for the smart technology market in marketable applications. An advisory panel will be meeting to discuss the industry’s latest developments and challenges in preparation for the show.
