Natural slate and architectural stone experts SSQ are celebrating a landmark anniversary for one of their longest-serving staff members.
Dalgeet DeSouza first joined the business in 1998, and in May marked 25 years working in the SSQ sales team.
In that time, SSQ has grown from strength to strength, firmly establishing itself as the UK’s leading supplier of natural slate and architectural stone.
It’s delivered millions of quality slates to customers around Britain, Europe and the wider world.
It’s also gone from a supplier solely providing Spanish natural slate to the sole source of Riverstone phyllite – a highly-prized material for roofing and cladding from the company’s own Argentinian quarry.
As a leading member of the SSQ sales team, Dalgeet has played a crucial role in that growth.
Today, as a Regional Director, helps spread the word about the huge benefits of natural roofing materials, and nurturing relationships with dozens of SSQ customers around the South East.
Dalgeet’s achievements were recognised at the most recent SSQ sales conference.
Ahmed El-Helw, company founder and managing director, comments: “Dalgeet has been a hugely valued and respected member of the SSQ family since the late 1990s.
“In that time, our business has grown considerably, and I have no doubt that Dalgeet’s commitment and enthusiasm have played a crucial role in making that happen.
“Both from myself on behalf of everyone at SSQ, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank her for a quarter-century of tireless service.”
Dalgeet comments: “I’ve loved the last 25 years I’ve spent at SSQ, and am thankful for all the support I’ve received from my fantastic colleagues.
“It’s a pleasure to bring some of the world’s finest natural slate and phyllite products to amazing customers around the country.”
