  • 30 Oct 2015

Stairlift installation specialists Stannah has been endorsed as a ‘Which? Trusted Trader’ following an assessment and inspection.

Which? Trusted Traders is an endorsement scheme created by independent consumer body Which? to advise customers on local trusted businesses that they can rely on.

In order to qualify as a Which? Trusted Trader, company’s must undergo a series of face-to-face assessments, including business credit reports, business process procedures, customer service and compliant handling procedures and seek feedback from previous customers.

Stephen McCluskey, Managing Director at Which? Trusted Traders, explained how the endorsement scheme can benefit both customers and traders:

“All consumers are likely to need the services of a trader at some point in their lives but many feel nervous about hiring a stranger and worry they will be duped. By choosing a firm endorsed by Which? Trusted Traders, consumers can be confident in the service they’ll receive.”

Only one in four applicants secure the endorsement, due to the strict guidelines of the assessment.

Stannah is the first national stairlift installer to have gained the endorsement.

A survey conducted by Which released earlier this year found that Stannah was one of the highest rated stairlift brands in the UK, with a customer satisfaction score of 74 per cent, based on votes from over 200 customers.

The stairlift provider has eleven service branches currently in operation in the UK.
