Stannah shortlisted for Specialist Contractor of the Year award

Stannah nominated for Specialist Contractor award

  • 14 Nov 2016

Stannah has been shortlisted under the ‘Specialist Contractor Category’ in the 2016 Builder Engineer Awards.

The awards event will take place at Liverpool’s famous Anfield Stadium on 30th November.

Over the years, the company has experienced presumptions about its ability to provide commercially, as a result of its engineering heritage and high profile success. However, this nomination recognises Stannah as a commercial lift provider and specialist contractor.

Specialist Contractor of the Year

Working in conjunction with its Major Projects team, the company’s Escalators and Moving Walkways department has successfully supplied and installed escalators and lifts to a number of prestigious projects: last year’s regeneration of Birmingham New Street and extension of Leeds Station Southern Entrance are among these.

Through its maintenance contract with Network Rail, Stannah has access to 1,130 assets; just a small section of its national maintenance portfolio, which comprises 81,000 assets.

The company is committed to winning contracts and delivering projects within time and budget; its experienced engineering team are renowned for working safely and efficiently
