Platform lift replacement

After existing lift removal, a new Stannah Midilift was installed in its place. The freestanding enclosure was erected with the minimum of builder’s work, even though the challenging location demanded a cantilever bracket to anchor the lift into to the central stairwell for added stability.

  • 22 glass-panel platform lift offers 360 degree visibility throughout every journey
  • wheelchair lift is easy to use with simple push-button controls inside of the 1100mm x 1400mm platform
  • features numerous safety features such as a ceiling light with timer, telephone, and anti-slip grey floor
  • complies with all requisite standards and regulations, including Section 4.2 of the Technical Handbook (Scotland), and the Equality Act 2010

Keith Godwin, Chief Engineer at Birmingham Marriott Hotel: “The Stannah Midilift SL platform lift helps everyone access our Leisure Club. Having tendered our requirement to three lift suppliers, we settled on the Stannah product as it was the most cost-effective solution – a great product backed by a swift, seamless installation and full after-care service”.

The Midilift SL platform lift is covered by Stannah’s comprehensive lift service plan, which includes four service visits, with continued lift maintenance by the West Midlands & Mid Wales branch of Stannah Lift Services, part of a nationwide network providing comprehensive lift servicing and support.
