Steel sculpture designed by Bunny Guinness is galvanised for durability

  • 29 Sep 2014

Designed by landscape gardener, Bunny Guinness, the sculpture required half a tonne of tubular light-weight steel to create the arched frame in the school courtyard, which was galvanised with acid etched to remove the shiny outcome and create a rustic effect.

The galvanising work ensures the durability of the steel and enhances the aesthetic appeal of the sculpture, producing an eye-catching feature piece for students and staff at Oakham School.
