Stroma achieve double at National Green Deal and ECO Awards

  • 22 Jun 2015

Stroma’s success marks the culmination of a dedicated investment and development programme in the past 12 months – encompassing software and scheme improvements, in addition to enhancing internal infrastructure and customer support systems.

Data andamp; Software Category

Stroma’s in-house development team is unique in the provision of software backed by the industry throughout the rest of the business.

The Data andamp; Software category has been awarded to Stroma the year in which its Tracker workflow management software provided an enhanced capability to manage the Green Deal and ECO journey across multiple devices and users.

The award recognises that Stroma Certification successfully delivered upgrades in line with key regulatory amendments, including RdSAP 9.92 and ECO 2.

Installer Certification Category

Installer Certification remains one of Stroma Certification’s priorities and they have achieved significant growth across their Green Deal Installer (GDI), Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and Competent Person Scheme (CPS).

The win rewards its Part P CPS scheme which Stroma has consistently promoted throughout the past 12 months. The business was also quick to react to the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and now offers installers all RHI-approved measures as part of their MCS installer scheme.

Alongside the Data andamp; Software and Installer Certification awards, Stroma placed second in the Assessor Certification Body of the Year and Training Organisation of the Year categories.

Matthew Ferguson, Managing Director andamp; CEO, said: ñI am delighted that the National Green Deal andamp; ECO Awards has recognised the exceptional performance of Stroma over the past year.î

ñOur achievement across all four nominated categories is something to be proud of and especially the software and installer awards. As an organisation which was amongst the first to provide Green Deal and ECO services to the industry we remain committed to ensuring its participants have the skills, support and opportunities to succeed.î
