Northcot Brick

Northcot Brick is an independent family-owned brick manufacturer situated in the Cotswolds. Founded in 1925, the company has developed a wide range of genuine handmade bricks, wirecut facing bricks, simulated 'reclaim' bricks and a variety of matching 'specials'.

As one of the very few manufacturers that still have local reserves, Northcot has continued to use the same surface clay over the centuries. When fired, this clay produces an intense orange base colour, which results in a range of naturally coloured, characterful bricks with subtle variations of tone and texture.

Renowned for their high quality craftsmanship, Northcot's 'master brick makers' use age-old bench mould techniques that have hardly changed over the centuries and fire in the traditional way in one of the last remaining coal-fired kilns in the country.

With its specialist brick matching skills and sophisticated weathering techniques, Northcot can replicate most regional brick variations. Projects range from the restoration of listed buildings to new build homes or extensions and prestigious commercial projects.
