Since the day SureSet opened its business, their resin has been used worldwide for permeable resin bound installations. This is why, in 2020, they launched ProResin as their flagship trade product in the SureSet online range of self-install goods.
– Tottenham Hotspurs decorative areas
– Public footpaths in Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi
– Car parks for Aston Martin Worldwide
– Bespoke paving design for Manchester City FC
– Communal gardens for the NHS, Nationwide
– Walkways and access roads for Cheltenham Racecourse
– Entrance and building surrounds at Anoopam Mission, Uxbridge
– Hard landscapes around Leavesdon park near Warner Bros Studios, London
The most common application for the trade product ProResin is resin bound paving. When comparing SureSet ProResin UVR to other aliphatic resins available, it was clear SureSet ProResin UVR is far superior. However, there was a demand for an alternative option and therefore SureSet decided to launch ProResin Non-UVR.
ProResin Non-UVR is a high-performance MDI resin specifically for lower budget projects. Compared with similar products on the market it provides excellent physical properties and the application characteristics of the ProResin UVR. Of equal importance, ProResin Non-UVR is competitively priced.
– 2-part chemically curing
– No Catalyst required
– Aromatic MDI
– Competitively priced
– User-friendly mix designs
– Will accept traffic after 24 hours
– Swift cure time
– Excellent strength
– Resin bound will appear darker over time
– Can be used in temperatures from 5°C – 25°C
ProResin UVR is controlled with a separate catalyst and performs brilliantly under natural sunlight conditions and will not yellow over time, the alternative option of ProResin Non-UVR requires no catalyst, which offers less control and the resin will yellow over time, hence the difference in price.
Of course, SureSet Resin Systems using ProResin UVR with their aggregate blends is still available and will continue to be specified where appropriate.
