ecobuild 2018 will be celebrating people who have helped shape sustainability in the built environment with a ‘Top 10’ and they want YOUR suggestions for inclusions.
Whether it be a chief executive creating a lasting legacy, a pioneer driving real change or the head of a charity or founder of a start-up who has ambitions for a more sustainable future, ecobuild want to hear from you about those making a difference.
With eco showcases, the main conference programme and the future build districts, sustainability is clearly at the very heart of what ecobuild is all about.
As well as discussing key challenges facing the built environment, another key purpose of the event is to create an action plan for change. This plan will focus on helping to deliver the UN Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
Managing director of ecobuild owner, Futurebuild Events Ltd, Martin Hurn, explained: “There are so many talented people who are having a real impact on sustainable construction and this Top 10 will allow us to shout about the incredible work they’re doing.
“It gives the industry the chance to tell us who gets them excited and why.”
Entries will be debated by industry influencers from the ecobuild Steering Group, which will result in the final Top 10 being formulated.
This will be then announced and showcased at the start of ecobuild 2018.
Nominations can be submitted at ecobuild.co.uk/sustainable-construction-top-10 and will remain open until Friday 22nd December.
