Following the Climate Change Committee (CCC)’s Progress Report to Parliament stating the UK is lagging in its building decarbonisation efforts, REHAU is calling on the Government to increase heat pump uptake by reducing the ‘spark gap’.
Following record-breaking temperatures this summer, REHAU is advising that both old and new UK building stock needs to become more resilient to high temperatures.
Building specifiers and contractors are advised to put healthy design principles first when adapting existing structures according to REHAU, following cautions from the Climate Change Committee (CCC) about overheating buildings.
