BMBI year-on-year sales growth in double digits but returning to trend

The latest figures from the Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI), published in December, reveal that merchants’ year-on-year value sales to builders and contractors were 11.1% higher in October 2021 compared to the same month in 2020.

BMBI: Timber & Joinery fuels builders’ merchants’ sales growth in July

The latest figures from the Builders Merchant Building Index (BMBI) reveal that builders’ merchants’ year-on-year value sales to builders and contractors were 14.5% higher in July 2021 than the same month last year, with two less trading days. Average daily sales in July climbed 25.5%.

BMBI: February sales growth driven by Timber & Joinery Products

According to the latest BMBI report, value sales to builders, roofers and contractors in February were 2.3% higher than in February 2020, on an equal number of trading days.
