Heat Radiation Ltd has specified Fernox’s TF1 Delta Filter in the design and installation of a new plant room and heating system for a comprehensive academy school in Devon.
The Taunton-based builder services engineer used information from Coniton Community College to calculate the usage in each classroom and specify a heating system to match the school’s requirements.
As part of the heating system design, Fernox’s new TF1 Delta Filter has been installed onto the two inch pipework to protect and extend its lifecycle.
Manufactured using high-quality, nickel-plated brass alloy, the TF1 Delta Filter comes complete with all the necessary valves and brackets, ensuring easy installation and maintenance.
Suitable for large-volume and low-temperature heating and cooling systems, the TF1 Delta Filter will protect the system’s vital parts, such as the boiler and pumps. It will also help to lengthen the system’s lifecycle, offering great cost benefits in the process.
The filer has three methods of filtration: magnetic, hydrocyclonic and automatic or manual deaeration.
It can be installed horizontally or vertically in four orientations, with no need to remove the filter from the pipework when cleaning it.
The result is an efficient, effective and well-protected system.
Heat Radiation operates primarily in the commercial and public sectors, with many projects in the healthcare and education sectors, where it designs, supplies and installs heating requirements.
Going forward the company will be looking to integrate Fernox’s TF1 Delta Filter into future projects.
Chris Gray said: “It’s a good product that is easy to install and use. We will definitely be using it for similar applications in the future as it provides reassurance for us, as the installer, and the end client.”
