In early September, a panel of industry professionals gathered in Paris to review the 140 applications received and select the winners of the 2019 Innovation Awards.
The Innovation Awards judging panel included representatives from institutions, certification bodies, project owners, contractors, companies, distributors and the trade media.
After their judging sessions, the experts selected the best innovative solutions from all the major construction sectors: structure, envelope, site equipment, tools, digital solutions, joinery, closures, solar protection, smart home, interior and exterior fittings, climate control, pumps, bathrooms etc.
Then, on the 9th of September, the 21 winning innovations selected from 60 shortlisted entrants, were unveiled.
The 2019 awards ceremony will take place at 11am on Tuesday 5 November, at the Architecture Forum (Hall 5A). During BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN (4-8 November) and INTERCLIMA (5-8 November), all Innovation Awards entrants will present their solutions at the ‘innovation pitch sessions’ in their Innovation Area (1 per show). Interactive screens places around the shows will also let visitors discover the innovations entries and vote for their favourite.
You can view the 10 BATIMAT winners here, the 3 IDÉOBAIN winners here, and the 8 INTERCLIMA winners here.
