The heat is rising with Schlüter’s new smart thermostat

  • 11 Jul 2018

Schlüter-Systems Ltd has announced the launch of its new smart thermostat, enhancing its electric underfloor heating system, Schlüter ® -DITRA-HEAT-E.

The new WiFir-enabled device offers a more customised operation of Schlüter’s existing 2″ thermostat system, in addition to offering minimal visual impact and ease of connection an set-up.

Schlüter is also offering a dedicated app alongside the thermostat for easy control of either individual thermostats or multiple thermostats remotely, enabling users to return home to an already warm floor.

In addition, the adaptive function optimises when heating is turned on/off to ensure the desired temperature is achieved in the most energy efficient manner

Users can also avoid the loss of money for heating a room with an open window with an innovative function that shuts off the heating for 30 minutes if a rapid drop in temperature is detected. The app also helps users to save money by enabling them to track energy consumption and cost.

In conjunction with the unique Schlüter ® -DITRA-HEAT-DUO matting, with its fast reacting heating and acoustic reduction fleece, this new announcement installs Schlüter’s electric underfloor heating solution as an unrivalled system. The smart thermostat brings the controls for the system in-line with users’ expectations and allows it to function even more effectively in tandem with a busy life.
