  • 26 Feb 2019

Selectrite Hardware is a global supplier of British made architectural hardware products that are suitable for specification on fire doors.

With all products being fully certified to relevant fire safety standards including CE, UL & ANSI, quality fire protection is assured when specifying and distributing products worldwide.

The company’s quality British made range includes…

Door closers: Two overhead door closer ranges offering a choice of two closers; the 4000, available with the option of three different slides and the 9000 available with either a round or square cover creating a stylish design on any door set.

Door coordinators/selectors: Selectrite’s door coordinators ensure that the doors they are attached to always shut in the correct sequence, regardless of which door is opened first. The MK2 coordinator is suitable for metal/steel/timber double doors and is fire certified to CE, UL and ANSI standards.

Wireless fire door holder: The magnetic fire door holder is a battery-powered device used to legally hold open internal fire doors. The holder uses a magnet to hold the door open to ease access during the day, in the event of the fire alarm sounding, the door is automatically closed to prevent the spread of smoke and flames.

Intumescent strips: Intumescent fire and smoke seals are graphite-based fire seals for fire door assemblies. In the event of a fire, the seal expands (intumesces) to many times its original volume and seals the gap around the door to provide a safe and effective barrier against the passage of fire, smoke and hot gases. These are available in different options depending on door/building specification.
