The Surface and Materials Hub at UK Construction Week

Held at the Birmingham NEC, the Surface andamp; Materials Hub will run for the first three days of UK Construction Week, between 6-8 October in partnership with SCIN Gallery. The hub will host a comprhensive schedule of debates, workshops and panel discussion with its event partner, the Society of British and International Design (SBID).

Day One

The seminar content will begin with a display of the latest surface designs from SBID – followed by a leading discussion on architectural materials lead by the SCIN Gallery.

The day will conclude with an informative seminar on current flooring surface trends.

Day Two

The second day of the Surface andamp; Materials show will feature an interactive debate on future trends and forecasts in the industry.

It will provide a valuable opportunity for visitors to engage in conversation with peers and some of the industry’s most influential practitioners, before the topic of discussion moves on to looking at trends in glass and its increasingly diverse in architecture and furnishing.

Day Three

The final day will consist of seminar content focusing on the growing popularity of re-used materials and how to incorporate them into eye-catching design. Experts will conclude the Surface andamp; Materials show with a master class in facade materials.
