Five videos are being launched throughout 2016 as part of the ‘This is Sandtex Trade’ YouTube series, which aims to help specifiers build up a greater knowledge of exterior painting.

The third video in the series sees Kevin O’Donnell, Product Trainer for Crown Paints, demonstrate the solutions for wood, metal and PVC-U using Sandtex’s extensive range of coatings and finishes.

The episode begins with an overview of priming and preparation, before providing an insight into the different requirements of various substrates.

A number of Sandtex products in the trims range are explored, including; Sandtex Trade Flexigloss X-tra, Sandtex Trade Eggshell X-tra and Sandtex Trade Metalgloss X-tra.

Sharon Smith, Sandtex Trade Brand Manager, said: “Trims such as window frames and guttering are an integral part of any exterior redecoration. As part of the Sandtex trade system approach, specific products for trims are formulated to provide superior protection, as well as a fantastic finish.”
