Timber Expo attracts international visitors

The Structural Timber Association launched their new magazine at the event, featuring in-depth case studies, introductions to structural timber solutions and articles on ‘Closing the Performance Gap.’

Architects, specifiers, contractors and engineers came from over 30 countries such as Qatar, China, Ghana, Russia, Kuwait, India, Malaysia, Canada and New Zealand to showcase world wide innovations.

Timber Buyers & Specifiers Forum explores industry growth

The Timber Buyers and Specifiers Forum, designed to promote the growth across the industry, as well as explore ideas and innovations, was a hit with attendees wanting to organise their time effectively.

Over 50 speakers from across the built environment participated in the Timber Focus seminars, delivering informative Question & Answer sessions.

The Expo forum aims to promote networking amongst professionals working on large developments and live projects that are awaiting design input.

The Timber Expo Awards were judged by a panel of independent experts, media and industry partners, with the winners this year being announced as:

• Eco Curves by Jagram – Award for Best Pre-Show Marketing
• Cellecta – Award for Best Shell Package Stand at Show
• SIG RoofSpace – Best Custom Built Stand at the Show

Exhibitors lined up for Timber Expo 2015

The organisers of Timber Expo have reported that nearly 60% of exhibitors signed contracts at the show for the 2015 event, which will be taking place at the NEC on 6th and 7th October.

Timber Expo is a two day event which celebrates the latest products, innovations and developments introduced into the timber sector from across the UK and international markets.
