Timber Expo has added a number of international merchants, such as Rothoblaas and Vandecasteele Houtimport, to its growing list of exhibitors.
Set to take place as part of UK Construction Week this October, Timber Expo will play host to the latest products and developments within the international timber sector.
Timber products are increasingly being used in sustainable and affordable construction projects; Timber Expo aims to provide a platform for industry members to network and develop new business partnerships.
Exhibitors will be given the opportunity to showcase their latest innovations and products, whilst all attendees can benefit from the show’s seminar schedule, which is being arranged and coordinated by TRADA
So far, the show has received support from several event partners, including the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF), the Confederation of Timber Industries (CTI) and the Structural Timber Association (STA).
Currently, Timber Expo’s exhibitor list includes: Hanson Plywood, a complete panel products supplier; Jagram, a manufacturer of timber garden products; and wood fibre insulation specialist, Steico
W. Howard Group will also occupy a stand at the show, featuring its range of timber architraves, skirting boards, window boards and door linings and casings. Boasting 60 years of experience as a timber merchant, serving the North West of England, the company is well-placed to offer insight and advice to Timber Expo’s delegates.
A number of international brands have signed up for exhibitor status. Vandecasteele Houtimport has worked in the timber industry for four generations; its operations, which cover decking, Thermowood, laminate and cladding, span across Europe.
FrenchTimber will be at the show to provide advice and information on the French wood industry and its comprehensive product range. Supported by joint-trade organisation, France Bois, the company will be distributing technical information leaflets at its stand, as well as presenting samples of French hardwood and softwood products.
In order to raise brand awareness in the UK market, Rothoblaas will also be exhibiting. The company, which offers woodworking products, training, consulting and integrated technological solutions, will be showcasing a range of fastenings, fall protection systems, soundproofing solutions and waterproofing and airtightness systems.
