Due to return to Birmingham NEC in October, Timber Expo is set to explore the latest advances across the industry and offer visitors a first look at some of the latest products, applications and innovations from across Europe.
Visitors will be provided with a series of free to attend workshops and importantly play host to a vast range of timber applications, from timber frame to fire protection, through to plywood, CLT and timber cladding.
Fire and containment technology will be available to view at manufacturer Envirograf Intumescent Systems’ stand and visitors will also have the opportunity to view White Haus’s high-quality hybrid timber frame building materials.
Gaujas Koks Ltd will be operating two sawmills with a total output of 300,000m3 of finished products and STEICO will showcase its air injected cellulose insulation, SteicoFloc, manufactured from recycled paper.
In addition, there will be the chance to sample screws from Schmid Scrauben Hainfield and experience a comprehensive collection of building boards, facades and air-tightness products by RCM.
Nathan Garnett, Event Director at Media 10, which runs the show, said: “Timber Expo sets out to provide visitors access to the latest products and innovations in the timber sector but also importantly act as a learning platform to deliver the latest informations on issues affecting the built environment from some of the leading experts in the industry.”
