  • 15 Sep 2014

Based at Stand F30, the company’s Senior Technical Officer, Kyle Morris, will demonstrate the elements of the PAS 24 test on an enhanced security timber window, whilst Vic Kearley, Principal Technical Officer will carry out a soft body impact test to show the difference in performance between timber floor types.

Timber Frame Consultant, Lewis Taylor, will conduct a timber frame demonstration examining the design and build aspects of a typical timber frame construction, whilst technical experts will cover hot topics in the industry as part of BM TRADA’s seminar programme.

Technical Business Development Manager, Andrew Pitman, will discuss the importance of assessing the condition and strength of historic timber and ensuring CE marking has third party certification.

Each seminar will last around 20 minutes and visitors will have the opportunity to ask additional questions at the end of each session surrounding timber related subjects.

Surgery sessions will also be taking place whereby visitors will be given the chance to ask BM TRADA’s technical experts questions about timber specification and performance.
