Set to take place on Tuesday 6th October 2015, the Awards will celebrate timber as a core structural system and demonstrate the full capabilities of the sustainable material.
Wiehag: making good use of timber
The inaugural event will be presented at a high profile dinner, attracting approximately 500 high profile leaders from the construction industry.
It will provide an effective platform for targeting the timber sector, presenting the opportunity for professionals to maximise exposure to penetrate the market.
The Structural Timber Awards will include shortlisted candidates from both public and private organisations, focusing on UK based projects which use timber technology as the core structural component.
Sought after categories include Project of the Year and Product Innovation – and will recognise the most cutting-edge and innovative projects and products created over the past few years.
Over 160 entrants have been reduced to 58 shortlisted projects, demonstrating the breadth of innovation in the timber sector.
The Awards will take place during the first UK National Construction Week, when industry pioneers will be congregating at Birminghams NEC.
