Toolstation, one of Britain’s fastest growing suppliers to the trade, home improvers and self-builders is sponsoring Soccer AM on Sky Sports 1 and Sky 1 for the 2015/16 football season.
Toolstation already has strong ties with football; sponsoring both the Toolstation Western and Northern Counties East Leagues and it is a longstanding supporter of ‘grass roots’ football. The Soccer AM show will feature the Toolstation sponsorship during the live show on Saturday mornings as well as on demand, Sky Go and across the dedicated Sky Sports website.
This sponsorship deal coincides with Toolstation’s continuing branch expansion programme. The 200th branch, which recently opened in Newton Abbot, is the fourth to open in Devon extending the company’s presence in the South West. The expansion programme is set to see 210 branches trading in the UK by the end of the year. The growth has meant that the overall increase in the number of employees in branch is now over 1,400 nationwide.
Toolstation has also recently launched the new, same day Click & Collect service, enabling customers to go online, search and buy products and collect in their chosen branch just an hour later. What’s more, Toolstation has updated their mobile platform with the introduction of PayPal to make purchasing easier for customers.
John Meaden, Toolstation’s Director of Marketing, comments:
“We are delighted to be sponsoring Soccer AM for the 2015/16 season. This campaign is our first sponsorship of this kind and reflects our passion for football, reaching a nationwide audience of our prospective customer base.
This sponsorship gives us a great platform to showcase Toolstation at an exciting time for the brand as we continue to grow with the roll our branch expansion programme in the UK.”
David Shore, Sky Media’s Head of New Business, added:
“Soccer AM is a Saturday morning staple for dedicated football fans – it’s great to have Toolstation on board cementing their established football credentials”
