The new homes have been built near Waterlooville in Hampshire, where a ‘garden city’ will eventually reside.
When completed, the new Berewood Village will consist of over 2,000 homes, two new schools and two pubs, as well as office and retail space.
Brett Martin’s Cascade cast iron style rainwater system was specified for installation on the new homes.
The rainwater system, which has been developed to be long-lasting, was selected to compliment the new buildings’ traditional-style appearance.
It is manufactured with plastic materials to offer the appearance of cast-iron without the price; the lightweight material also allows for easier installation.
Several different gutter profiles and down pipe styles are available to suit new build and renovation projects.
The rainwater systems can also be customised to suit individual requirements with Brett Martin’s range of hoppers.
They are available in several heritage colours, such as Oxford Blue, Classic Black, Sandstone, Olive Green, Porcelain White and Graphite Grey.
Each system is designed to replicate original features and detailing with a series of period motifs, including Fleur de Lys, Gargoyles, Lion and Tudor Rose, available.
