Security expert Abloy UK has announced three new additions that will be joining its team, in a sure sign that the company is enhancing its expertise.
Duncan Rigby joins as Technical Sales and Specification Manager, whilst Geoff Bowers is Systems Integrator Channel Manager for the North, and James Harvey comes in as CNI Market Development Manager – Transport.
Duncan’s role will focus on driving sales through specification, plus offering technical guidance to the wider team.
Bring nearly four decades of experience in the locking industry to the table, which include four years as a Regional Sales Manager at Abloy, Duncan possesses an impressive gamut of industry knowhow and skills that will prove vital for his new position.
“I am so pleased to be returning to a company that is so committed to innovation and progression. I’m particularly looking forward to getting hands on with the products and solving technical issues,” he said.
Geoff Bowers will work alongside System Integrator Channel Manager Gary Frost, with the pair designated to observe the quickly expanding market. Geoff’s focus will be on the North of the country, aiding the Abloy sales teams and pioneering its electric locking solutions, that are recognised worldwide for their quality.
He also brings a broad range of international experience to the job, as well as a background in video surveillance and business development within the security market.
“I am eager to further my knowledge and develop a new marketplace, in order to facilitate the growth of Abloy across the UK,” he commented.
James Harvey’s experience of more than 35 years in the fire, security and systems integration industry, which ranges from working as a locksmith to running his own security business, will prove invaluable.
He commented: “In terms of electromechanical, mechanical, mobile, and connected solutions Abloy are, without doubt, a world leader.
“Add to this high-performance doors and emergency escape door systems, and you have a dynamic package which offers secure, safe and complaint door opening solutions.
“To be able to take this package and work with CNI end users to develop solutions for their sites is what I am most looking forward to.”
Aaron Yule, MD of Abloy UK, expressed his delight at these appointments: “We are thrilled to be welcoming three new members to our ever-expanding team. These roles are critical to expediting our development and maintaining our position at the forefront of the marketplace.”
