Triple glazed roof windows installed at Passivhaus designed building

Designed by Friad-Robles Associated Ltd, the building was a finalist in the ‘Best Education Building’ category at the LABC Building Excellence Awards and also won ‘Best Sustainable Project’ in the Regional LABC Awards.

Credited with the status of being the first Passivhaus university buildings for teaching in the country, the facilities total 1,250m2 and are used for architecture, photography and fine art courses.

Featuring an airtight design, the buildings achieved 0.19 Air Changes/hour at 50Pa.
