UK Construction Week returns for its second year

Following its successful launch last year, UK Construction Week will make a return to Birmingham’s NEC on 18th October 2016.

Consisting of popular shows, such as Timber Expo, Energy 2016, Plant & Machinery Live, HVAC 2016 and Grand Designs Live, UK Construction Week will span the length of five halls at the NEC. A number of trade associations and industry names, including CEMEX, JCB and Screwfix, have already signed up for a stand at the show, which attracted over 650 exhibitors last year.

UK Construction WeekThe 2015 event also welcomed more than 24,000 trade visitors, who benefited from the chance to network with industry professionals, and develop their careers with new knowledge and skills.

The show’s organiser, Media 10, aims to provide visitors with the opportunity to see new product innovations, and benefit from deals from leading brands. For exhibitors, the event provides the opportunitiy to interact with purchasers and decision makers from house building and architectural firms from across the UK.

Its comprehensive business offering will be enhanced by a wide variety of evening entertainment, including a casino night at the Genting International Casino and the launch of the Construction Enquirer Awards.

The future of construction

UK Construction Week is dedicated to knowledge-sharing and adovating best practice in construction to solve industry-wide problems.

It provides a place for the construction industry to discuss the future of the industry. A number of key issues, such as the skills and housing shortages and the diversity in construction, will be discussed on the main stage of the event.
