Ultrabond multi-purpose adhesive for resilient floor and wall coverings

  • 9 Nov 2016

Mapei has expanded its range of UK-manufactured flooring adhesives with the introduction of Ultrabond Eco V4SP, a multi-purpose adhesive designed for the installation of resilient floor and wall coverings.

Suitable for both commercial and residential applications, Ultrabond V4SP can be used as an adhesive for fitting PVC and rubber flooring, in addition to interior applications for LVT, linoleum and indoor sports flooring.

The low VOC product was recently used for the installation of 60,000m2 of vinyl flooring at the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC) in Melbourne, Australia.

Ultrabond Eco V4SP provides a high peel strength and extended open time and is solvent free. The polymer-based  adhesive can be used as a wet-bed adhesive for all floorings on absorbent substrates, in addition to a transitional pressure-sensitive adhesive for bonding dimensionally stable floor coverings on impervious, non-absorbent substrates.
