  • 31 May 2018

UNION, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, will be showcasing its latest door hardware and security solutions at Lockex 2018.

At Coventry’s Ricoh Arena, from 8 – 10 June, locksmiths can find UNION on stand F11 to talk about the brand’s leading product portfolio for both timber and metal fire doors.

There will also be the chance to inspect UNION’s range of mortice and cylinder solutions, including the renowned keyPRIME™ and keyULTRA™ master key solutions.

Featuring an all-new reversible key design, the keyPRIME™ patented dimple cylinder platform currently offers the longest patent protection in the market, with an expected lifetime extension until 2036.

Available in a strong and durable nickel silver, the platform is certified to the toughest requirements of BS EN 1303:2015, offering anti-pick, anti-drill, anti-bump and anti-pull protection as standard.

Meanwhile, keyULTRA™ offers an exclusive 6 pin system using DuraPIN™ technology to prevent the unauthorised copying of keys. Featuring a new thumbturn design, keyULTRA™ is available in a range of six finishes, including brushed satin nickel, polished chrome, satin chrome, polish brass, satin brass or antique brass.

UNION’s latest heavy-duty euro-profile mortice lockcases will also be displayed; designed for areas where high performance, strength and durability are crucial, the new lockcases cover a wide range of specifications, including sashlock, deadlock, mortice latch, deadlocking nightlatch, bathroom lock and an emergency escape lock.

Tested to over three and a half million cycles (12 times greater than the industry standard) the range’s assured strength is supported by its superior durability, meeting the BS EN 12209 standard and offered with a 15-year guarantee.

UNION will also be presenting its HD72 and StrongBOLT lockcases, PowerLOAD hinges and FastLatch range. The brand’s extensive range of door closers will be on display too, including the CE3F, CE24V, RetroV and DoorSense.

Dale Hardware will also be represented on UNION’s stand demonstrating Jigtech, a new door handle and latch fitting system that enables installers to fit these products in less than five minutes.

Peter Crane, UNION’s Marketing Manager, commented: “The brand’s reputation for high-quality, durable and reliable products is well-established, with all of products designed to the highest standards and undergoing rigorous testing.

“Lockex looks set to become a key event in locksmiths’ diaries in years to come, and we look forward to welcoming those attending this year’s event to stand F11 to discuss the latest solutions available from UNION.”
