In an effort to support our NHS heroes during this unprecedented time, Uzin Utz UK are organising a number of fundraising initiatives over the next few months.
Uzin Utz UK will donate a minimum of £3000 to the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW), along with a proportion of sales received in May.
The company is also fundraising through forthcoming activities such as the Pallmann ‘Parkettprofi Virtual Run’, in which £1 will be donated for every kilometre run. It is hoped the money raised will help NHS staff, volunteers and patients in the fight against COVID-19.
Matthew Brow, MD of Uzin Utz UK, commented: “In appreciation to NHS staff and volunteers across the UK who are putting their lives at risk, we at Uzin Utz UK would like to make a small contribution to help our local NHS trust.
“The heroes at UHCW are doing a fantastic job, caring for the welfare and safety of their patients and we want to express our gratitude to their dedication in helping the local community.
“We will promise a minimum £3000 donation and will also pledge more from a proportion of our May sales. We are also exploring a number of fundraising schemes over the next few months so we can increase the total.”
Jo O’Sullivan, Head of UHCW Charity, said: “We are very grateful for the support of Uzin Utz UK Ltd and their customers at this difficult time. It means so much to our staff and our patients to know that others are thinking of them as we face the pandemic together.”
