Vacuum roofing system ready for the storms

PROVAC prefabricated vacuum roofing has been designed for repairing roof damage in both domestic properties and larger commercial buildings

The company manufactures and supplies the PROVAC prefabricated vacuum roofing system that has been designed for repairing roof damage in both doemstic properties and larger commercial buildings.

PROVAC can be specified when refurbishing and repairing existing roofing systems as it can be laid directly on top of an existing bitumen or concrete roof structure. The system makes use of vents that are located in specific places to act as pressure relief valves.

The system only needs to be fixed at perimeters and penetrations, reducing the need for fasteners and making for a quicker installation time and reduced labour costs.

“Research shows that the last time we had high winds, domestic roof damage alone exceeded £2.5billion, and in winter weather, roof damage is the most common insurance claim*. says Protan managing director Fraser Maitland.
