Vandersanden recently won the prestigious golden accolade of Deloitte Best Managed Companies. This marks the fourth consecutive year the family business has won the Best Managed Companies award.
The jury praised, among other attributes, Vandersanden’s innovative character and its strong commitment to corporate well-being and sustainability.
Vandersanden has received Deloitte’s Best Managed Company title every year since 2018. Subsequently, the family business won the golden accolade for the first time, during the Best Managed Companies awards of 2021.
The jury of Best Managed Companies praised Vandersanden’s prominent commitment to sustainability. This is reflected in its ambitions in the field of corporate well-being and the recent publication of the family business’s first sustainability report, and the resilient way in which Vandersanden is dealing with the Coronavirus crisis and has even managed to increase its turnover in 2020 was also a point of strength for the jury.
Furthermore, the jury of Best Managed Companies praised Vandersanden’s digitisation plan and the related investments of the family business. Vandersanden’s HR strategy, with its strong focus on well-being and talent, was also popular. Finally, the jury praised Vandersanden’s innovative character, including the recent roll-out of RoboBrick, a fully automated system for manufacturing ECO brick slips.
Jean-Pierre Wuytack, CEO of Vandersanden, comments: “We are extremely proud to receive this wonderful recognition from Deloitte for the fourth year in a row.
“I am pleased to see that the jury of Best Managed Companies explicitly recognises our work on sustainability and corporate well-being as a strength.
“This is a great compliment for all our employees who work hard every day for the well-being of our company, our sector, our people and our society. They all contribute to Vandersanden’s success story.”
