  • 13 Feb 2015

Causeway Technologies’ Telematics 2015 vehicle tracking software has been improved to continue aiding organisations with a mobile workforce

Telematics 2015 is available as a program for desktop systems and it can be accessed from any web browser.

The software is also available as an App for Smart phones and tablets, which can be used by employees to receive jobs and report progresses when they are away from their computers.

The App can also be used by customers to track an operative’s progress.

Telematics has been integrated with Google Maps which allows it to generate up-to-date traffic information. It is also linked with Causeway’s Mobile Workforce which has been designed to manage the planned and reactive activities of workers.

Using Telematics, users can view a driver’s route and position. The software can also tell them when a vehicle has been speeding or stopped at an unknown location.

Users can customise the vehicle and driver data to suit their own individual requirements.

With the search facility, the software also enables users to find new job locations and provides them with directions to help them find their way there. The reporting suite enables users to view data such as driver performance, mileage and fuel efficiency.

Benefits of vehicle tracking software

Causeway Technologies’ customers have confirmed that Telematics helps them save fuel and complete more jobs.

A 10% reduction in fuel spend, alongside a 20% increase in completed jobs per day, has been reported.
