  • 4 Jun 2018

VELUX has announced the launch of a national competition to recognise architects and designers for their use of roof windows in residential projects.

The VELUX Roof Window Award is now open to submissions from architects based in the UK and Ireland who have recently completed a project that utilises a VELUX roof window.

A VELUX curved glass roof window will be awarded to the competition winner, in addition to £2,000 in prize money.

Grant Sneddon, product manager for VELUX comments: “VELUX has a reputation for providing quality products, and this has enabled designers to craft spaces that push the boundaries of design and aid pioneering construction concepts. And it is this commitment to supporting the design and construction industry that has been the driving force behind VELUX extending the competition to across the whole of the UK and Ireland.”
