VELUX launches new white-painted roof window

  • 5 Apr 2016

VELUX has launched a new white-painted roof window for bright and light interiors, developed in response to increasing demand for an alternative to traditional pine.

The roof window offers a new matt white finish and is triple coated with a water-based lacquer and a UV resistant white paint. Each frame is individually painted to ensure a consistent and resilient finish which does not discolour or deteriorate over time.

All new VELUX roof windows come with a –70 pane, a high standard of safety glazing which features a laminated inner pane and a toughened outer pane.

Whilst the white-painted roof window will be VELUX’s future standard offer, both the white polyurethane and pine clear lacquer will still be available as part of its programme.

The VELUX 2016 Tour

The VELUX 2016 roadshow is visiting 250 venues across the UK and Ireland until the end of July, giving installers and suppliers a preview of the new white-painted roof window range.

The events will offer installers the opportunity to win over £75,000 worth of rewards and exclusive prizes including a Vauxhall Vivaro van worth over £20,000, Makita Drill Sets and iPad Minis.

Visitors who pre-register for the event will receive a instant win scratch card with a guaranteed VELUX Reward worth between £5 and £50. Attendees will also be able to take a virtual tour of the VELUX factory.
