VELUX rewards installers for specifying INTEGRA roof windows

  • 24 Aug 2016

VELUX is offering window installers across the UK and Ireland £100 worth of rewards for every purchase of a VELUX INTEGRA solar or electric roof window during September and October.

The offer coincides with the latest campaign from the manufacturer which aims to ‘inspire and support homeowners’ through a series of practical tips, advice and tools to help them create a single storey extension with VELUX roof windows.

The campaign is encouraging homeowners to add more daylight to their existing or new extensions through the specification of VELUX roof windows – which offer twice the daylight to extensions as vertical windows.

The vouchers are redeemable at a number of high street and online stores including M&S, Argos, Pizza Express and Ticketmaster.

VELUX homeowner survey

VELUX have supported its campaign by conducting a survey of UK homeowners, which revealed that 47 percent of those taking part are planning to carry out home improvements in the next six months, with the majority of home improvers (59 percent) doing so to either update their interior décor or modernise their homes.

There is however a growing trend for homeowners to extend their property rather than move home. The VELUX survey uncovered that one out of every ten home improvers is starting a project to create or improve living space so that they can spend more time together in as a family.

This particular group is willing to spent almost double the planned average spend of £6,444 on improving their homes – with a planned average of £15,589.
