Vinyl flooring Polysafe Verona PUR fitted in school dining room

The vinyl flooring was fitted in the shade Summer Coulis to brighten Middleton Technology School’s dining area

With its heavy commercial classification, Polysafe Verona is able to deliver slip resistance in areas where there are frequent leaks or spillages.

The carborundum-free design been manufactured with PUR reinforcement to make it easy to clean and maintain. Via the Recofloor scheme, the product is also completely recyclable.

The vinyl flooring was specified by H Bell & Sons and installed by Winton Flooring in the shade Summer Coulis 5217, which was picked by the school’s catering team who craved a vibrant working environment.

Polysafe Verona is able to deliver continued slip resistance throughout its guaranteed life, allowing it to meet HSE and UK Slip Group Guidelines.

The product has achieved 36 on the Pendulum wet test and, with a surface roughness of over 20 microns, it has been classified as low slip potential.

Additionally, the vinyl flooring meets the 50,000 cycles abrasion test, which guarantees that its particles are able to provide sustained friction. Verona also complies with EN 13845, the European Standard for safety flooring.
