A few years ago, the VORTICE Group purchased Casals, a world leader in commercial and industrial ventilation and now has the benefit of fans in stock in the UK, unlike many of its competitors. As part of its product development programme, the VORTICE Casals range of energy efficient electrically commuted (EC) motor products has been further expanded.
Offering higher efficiency compared to AC variants, EC fans offer 100% speed control by either 0-10v or PWM. The electronic & power transformation are completely integrated within the EC motor, meaning no complicated wiring and set-up or need for an inverter. Performance is not limited to the synchronous speed of an AC motor meaning higher performance potential available with EC motors.
As an example, the HJBM EEC axial fans are available from stock and are suitable for air renewal in all types of commercial and industrial environments. Designed for wall mounting, they have an operating temperature range from -20°C to 50°C, working from 400 to 2000 rpm depending on the model.
Also available from stock are the long cased axial fans: HM Evo EEC which are designed for duct installation and are suitable for air renewal and smoke extraction, working with transported temperatures up to 60 degrees centigrade.
The Dhumat ventilation boxes are ideal for smoke extraction, kitchen extract and ventilation of covered car parks or high rise buildings and technical, industrial or commercial premises.
These comprise a centrifugal fan with self-cleaning system and backward-curve impeller made of steel, dynamically balanced and with direct coupling on the motor shaft.
Jennifer Quinn, Marketing Manager, comments: “We’re in the fortunate position of being able to offer a range of commercial and industrial fans from stock in the UK, at a time when supply can be unpredictable.”
Industrial ventilation is a specialised area and the VORTICE technical experts in Burton upon Trent are happy to discuss specific requirements and help identify the best options. The ventilation brochure is available to download from the website.
