VS-1 curtain walling shortlisted for glazing innovation

  • 23 Feb 2016

The GLASSOLUTIONS VS-1 curtain walling system has been selected as one of the top innovations to be displayed at the Retail Design Expo 2016.

The VS-1 has been shortlisted as a finalist for the event’s Innovation Trail and Awards. The curtain walling system was selected as one of 18 products that have the potential to make an impact on the industry.

The winner of the Innovation Trail and Awards will be revealed at the Retail Design Expo which will be held at London’s Olympia between the 9-10th March.

Innovative curtain walling

GLASSOLUTIONS will exhibit its mullion-only VS-1 curtain walling system at the Retail Design Expo.

Suitable for applications both large and small, the VS-1 is a cost effective and time efficient alternative to bespoke systems. The system is ideal for building designs that feature large vertical spans of glass or must allow for plenty of natural light.

It has no transoms, making it ideal for retail projects which require glazing for uninterrupted window designs, shop facades and balustrades.

VS-1 can be specified with a full range of glazing products to achieve the optimum combination of solar, acoustic and thermal insulation. In addition, the mullions can be coloured to suit any design requirements, such as a finish which will support retailer branding.

See the GLASSOLUTIONS VS-1 curtain walling on Stand H72 at the Retail Design Expo in March.
