New washroom for Victorian office complex

Washroom renovation issued for contemporary office refurbishment

  • 8 Apr 2016

Washroom Washroom has contributed to the refurbishment of a London-based Victorian office building, with the installation of disabled facilities and multiple male and female washrooms.

Located on the south side of London Wall, the office building boasts many of its original period features. It recently underwent a comprehensive refurbishment, organised by PDC Construction, which worked around the historic architectural features to create a number of contemporary office suites.

Washroom specification

Washroom was contracted to design and install a number of male and female toilet facilities to replace the building’s existing washrooms. It was also tasked with improving the establishment’s disabled facilities on several floors.

To achieve a seamless, modern aesthetic, Washroom specified its flush fronted Alto toilet cubicles for installation. The facades were finished with a dark wood effect Engineered Veneer to ensure colour consistency throughout the bathroom.

The company fitted numerous laminated ducts, specified in a soft grey shade, behind the toilets and urinals to compliment the appearance of the cubicle doors.

Solid surface Corian was used to create the vanities, which feature individually shaped inset sinks.
