Washroom Washroom has created a new cycle centre for a central London office.
The Great Ropemaker Partnership acquired 214 Grays Inn Road in 2011 and with architects IMA, have refurbished the 45,500 square feet of car parking space and back up accommodation for 200 Grays Inn Road.
Washroom was asked to create the new cycle centre at 214 after installing new washrooms on floors four and six of 200 Grays Inn Road.
Washroom worked closely with interior design and fit-out company Elev8 Interiors Ltd to create the new cycle centre. The company’s Forza lockers, which were manufactured from 12mm solid laminate with aluminium bodes for exceptional strength, were installed and come complete with digital code access locks.
Washroom’s Marcato toilet and shower cubicles were fitted with stainless steel locks and coat hooks. Maximum privacy and waterproof properties were provided due to the flush fronted design and rebated finish allowing the panels and doors to meet edge to edge.
Trevor Bowers, director at Washroom Washroom said: “There’s been a huge increase in demand for staff shower and changing areas in recent years and this is something which has fast become a core part of our commercial offering. This project highlights our ability to deliver more than washrooms!”
