Recofloor: the waste vinyl flooring Take Back scheme

Waste vinyl flooring recyclers benefit from new website

  • 4 Dec 2015

Originally developed to provide information on waste vinyl flooring recycling for flooring companies, Recofloor’s website has recently been re-designed to offer new features and improved functionality.

With direct links to Recofloor’s founders, Altro and Polyflor, the website provides information on the UK’s national vinyl flooring recycling scheme.

It has been re-designed as a more user-friendly platform, which is easier to navigate. However, familiar and popular features – such as its cost calculator and Recofloor drop-off sites map – have been preserved.

New additions include downloadable leaflets, training presentations and case studies, and dedicated pages for distributors and contractors, which offer collection request forms, bags, and other useful data.

A step-by-step guide on using the scheme has also been added, along with information on waste exemptions and waste carriers licences.

Keeping up to date with Recofloor

Latest announcements will be posted on the Home Page to bring upcoming events, seasonal collections or member news to visitors’ attention.

An Events page has also been included to keep Recofloor’s members updated on future trade shows, Bacon Butty events and the scheme’s annual awards. Members can use the website to enter next year’s Recofloor Award.
